If you wish to take duty free drinks, check before you board your flight if you are going to have a flight change en route. With the new liquid restrictions some airlines and terminals will confiscate this when changing flights. Lynette

Cambodia

For 20 years Cambodia was ravaged by war and atrocities but today it has emerged as one of our more popular travel destinations. It was not until the late 1990’s that travellers started returning to this land of ancient temples, mighty rivers and remote forests. Bordering Vietnam and Thailand, Cambodia makes an excellent stopover destination and offers exciting overland possibilities for multi country travel.

When to go...
Cambodia has a tropical climate that is warm and humid. The peak of the rainy season from June to August is very humid and the temperatures can reach over 30°C. Seasonal flooding in Phnom Penh and the rest of Cambodia occurs in late July/early August which can cause some disruptions to travel. September to early November is wet and slightly cooler. The peak tourist season is November to February during the dry season. It is very hot between March and May where temperatures as high as 38°C are not uncommon.
