On an adventure tour take one set of clean clothes in a zip lock bag and keep them separate from everything else. However hot and humid it becomes it is always nice at the end of the day to shower and step into fresh clothes even if it means putting the jungle clothes back on at the end of the day. Lynette

When to go...
Laos is mostly a hot country with a rainy season from May to October and dry season from November to April. Year round temperatures range from the upper 20's Celcius to the mid 30's Celcius. The only exception is the mountain regions in the north where temperatures plummet near freezing in December and January. The only months to really avoid are February and March when local people burn the fields and forests to prepare for their annuals crops, making it very hot and smoky.
